Although the primary focus of the offshore industry is the prospecting and extraction of oil and gas at sea, the sector has increasingly been shifting towards wind energy as a new primary field. Specifically, this sector designs, constructs and erects structural works at sea that are used for industrial processes and public facilities. Examples of their works include oil and gas platforms, diving support vessels, supply ships (or platforms), pipeline layers, and crane vessels. Stokvis Trading BV performs two services to this sector, namely supplying ASTM products and specials, and project consultancy. It is also important to note that we are fully equipped for rapid deliveries since the governing principle in offshore is that time is money. How do we ensure this? We have all (standard) products in stock and we are authorised under Lloyd’s Register to restamp products.
